Recommendations for Thanksgiving Dinner

Please help. Can anyone recommend where to eat for Thanksgiving for a family of 6? Last year we didnt make ressies till late and could only go to Rose and Crown in Epcot. We would like a more tradtional menu. We also will be doing Disney dining so that limits us a little. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Went to the Liberty Tree Tavern for Christmas dinner one time and loved it. It was a traditional Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. (mashed tatoes, veggies, mac and cheese, turkey and more) I highly recommend it!

This is the same question that we are having... Originally we were going to do Liberty Tavern, we may still do that. I changed my mind when I heard just how crowded MK is on Thanksgiving. We are now thinking about doing Whispering Canyon at WL.

Read your message and only one place popped straight into my head....Liberty Tree Tavern in MK! Had X-mas dinner there 3 years ago and it was magical. Food was great (I actually had the turkey with gravey, stuffing, veggies and cranberry sauce....can't get much more traditional than that!)

I highly recommend it for both the atmosphere and food.

Granted it has been a few years (1993 to be exact) but we were there on Thanksgiving Day and it was amazing!! Very few lines over 15 minutes... it felt at times like we had the park to ourselves. Definitely one of my favourite trips to MK. (And yes..we did have dinner at LTT)

The only day I've had at a theme park that was close to that empty was Busch Gardens on Super Bowl Sunday...which I HIGHLY recommend!! Walk on rides and stay till you want to get off!! whohoo!!

We're eating at HDDR for Thanksgiving. I know it's not traditional, but I can do traditional any day of the week at home.

We had our Thanksgiving dinner at Cher Mickeys in '04. It was really very good. Dh doesn't really care for turkey, so he could have his roast beef, dd had her chicken tenders/mac and cheese, and I got my turkey dinner with all the trimmngs right from cranberry sauce to pumpkin pie!!!

Has anyone ever done "Thanksgiving at the Fort" at the Fort Wilderness Campground? We will be staying at VWL, and like to visit Fort Wilderness. Just wondering if this is a fun experience.

4 Seatings: Noon, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm.
Adults: $42.00; Children 3 to 9: $25.00
Non-alcoholic, non-specialty beverage, tax and tip included.

Buffet: Vegetable soup, garden salad, cornbread, fresh-baked rolls, honey mustard glazed ham with raisin sauce, sliced roast turkey with giblet gravy, fried catfish, wild game stew, mashed potatoes, country green beans, stuffing, yams and squash, cranberry relish, fruit pies and pudding, iced tea, lemonade, and coffee

Live country western band, line-dance instructor, characters.
