We are staying at POR. Any good places to eat there??

we enjoy boatwrights for breakfast. the food court can be crazy in the mornings and the sit-down is just as quick and easy on the wallet.

We were there last aug. and the food court was never really THAT crowded. In the front left corner is the pastry counter. Try the beignets!! They are great. I think I added 5 pounds by having them everynight as a late night snack!! We also did Boatwrights for dinner and really enjoyed it.

It will be great no matter where you go!!

have fun and eat a beignet for me!

My favorite is the banana-stuffed french toast at Boatwright's. I've never had the more familiar one at the Poly, but it sounds like the same thing. It was very good - but not something I would eat every day. The food court has a nice selection. I like the nachos and taco salads (and of course the beignets), and all seemed quite reasonable.

Do you need a PS for Boatwrights or can we just walk in for Breakfast. I want to eat there the day after MVMCP and have no idea what time we might get up! TIA

I really don't think you'd need one for breakfast - but we've never gone there early when people are trying to eat before the parks open. Everytime we've gone (about 4 or 5 times), the place was never more than half-full for breakfast. If you're not in a hurry to get to the parks, I would suggest getting there after 9 to miss the crowds. I've always thought the food was very good for breakfast - kind of reminds you of a Cracker Barrel type of place with a Disney touch.
