Recommendations for POFQ room requests?

Anyone have any suggestions on "general" room requests for a standard room at POFQ? I've never actually been to the resort so I can't make a judgement call myself.

Our party consists of:
me (don't really care as long as I'm not looking at garbage cans)
my mom (LOVES gardens and will be riding an ECV)
DSs (5 & 7 and they don't care as long as they get to ride down the dragon slide )

So any suggestions of requests I should make for a general location of a good room for us?

Have you let reservations know your mom will have an ecv? Just let the CM at reservations know and they will make sure you have a room that will meet your mother's needs.

No need to request anything, except a first floor room to accommodate the ECV. Each building has 1 elevator, but each building is RATHER LARGE. For some rooms, going to the elevator means covering a lot of unnecessary ground.

Other than that, POFQ is so pleasantly compact that there's no real reason to request one place over another. The farthest walk, the farthest walking time between destinations within the resort, is just over 3 minutes (I timed it).

Last year I stayed in bulding 4 it was perfect. We could SEE the bus stop out our window, it was qiuet and close to the main building.
