recommendations for le cellier lunch& side subtitutions!?

never ate there but since it gets such good reviews and we love steak, i decided to make a reservation. dont even know how it happened just happened to do a search for a particular date that serves steak and it came up so i grabbed it. so with that said give me some recommendations on what to order for lunch. also can sides be substituted? for example substitute the mash potatoes for the yukon potatoes or even fries for yukon potatoes. i dont think my son will like yukon potatoes either mash or def fries are up his alley.

Sides can be substituted for sides that come with another entree, but not for any of the separately sold sides.

I don't care for rice that much and both times they let me sub potatoes. 1 time the mashed and once the scalloped with my filet. The scalloped ones were really good. The filet is great, also the cheddar soup.

Should have mentioned that if you order from the Chefs Favorites fixed-price three course menu, you cannot substitute anything, even the sides.
