My DS7 likes spaghetti...

The rest of us, mom, dad and DS9 are not too picky.

What choices do we have if we want a sitdown Italian meal?

in MK I think that Tonys is listed as a spaghetti dinner place. Tutto Italia in Epcot is a very nice sit down restaurant for any type of pasta and chicken and drop down good steak......we had the steak can you tell...
Have a good visit to the House of the Mouse

The best is going to be Il Mulino at the Swan (not on the dining plan, not the cheapest place to eat either).

Mama Melrose (Hollywood Studios)
Tutto Italia (Epcot)
Il Mulino New York Trattoria (WDW Swan)
Tony's Town Square (Magic Kingdom)
Portobello (Downtown Disney)

In Epcot, Tutto Italia is excellent. Because it's in epcot, the entire staff is from Italy and the food is very authentic. Pasta melts in your mouth. Strongly recommend it. This is a very busy resto so recommend you make reservations.

One of the best believe it or not is DTD at WolfGang Pucks Express. While it is counter service, you order and then go sit down while they bring it to you. So it is more of a sit down than a quick service.
Very good food as well. The spaghetti with basil was wonderful!!

Tutto at Epcot or tony's at MK. Tonys is more laid back.

Best Italian is at the Swan. :thumbsup2 Tutto is pretty good if you want to stick with a park restaurant.
Whatever you do don't eat at Mama Melroses-that is NOT Italian by any stretch of the imagination. :scared1:

We love Tony's Town Square  in the Magic Kingdom :thumbsup2 It has become our first and last meal tradition since the girls were little and we still do it now :cloud9: We are trying Mama Melrose for the first time in April :yay:

We liked Alfredo's (now Tutto's)

We've been to Tony's in 2005 but it wasn't very good. I heard that they changed chefs.

Tried Mama Melroses in 2008 and loved it and the atmosphere.

Goodluck with your decision...

Big fan of Tutto...Very good service and authentic food!

Did not like Mama Melrose either time we went...The atmosphere is nice but the food is just not good...

Tonys was okay but I would compare the food to Olive Garden...Not authentic Italian...The atmosphere is nice...

Have not been to the one at the Swan...We use the dining plan and something tells me that they do not take the plan...Someone else will know for sure?!?

Do yourself a favor and skip the Italian while in WDW. However, we have never tried the Swan or Dolphin for Italian. I have heard they are good but pricey.

Enjoy your trip.

Sounds like Tutto is the clear winner. I have a reservation there and was not sure about the quality.

Thanks
