DH and I are going for my first trip to stay at the resort. We did a day trip in 2003, and he went in college, but all that we have eaten at WDW has been counter service. We want to eat in the park on three evenings, once at MK, once Epcot, once MGM. We are thinking Cinderella's Royal Table, Chefs de France, and Brown Derby.

Now that I am reading posts I am reconsidering. Should we eat at Rose and Crown instead of Chefs for view of Illuminations? Any other suggestions for eating inside the parks? We don't care for seafood or asian food.

Any suggestions? Any counter service restaurants that are tasty?

Thanks for listening.

CRT is good but it's now 2 credits each when using the DDP and I just don't think it's worth it. I have never eaten at Brown Derby but that too is 2 credits each so that might be something to consider. In Epcot, I highly recommend Le Cellier. It's only 1 credit and an excellent deal. Rose and Crown is good but don't go there expecting to get a view of Illuminations; that's not guaranteed. We love 50's in MGM. One thing DH and I are considering for our upcoming trip is doing a few TS lunchs and only using one credit to maximize our ability to do TS. For example, we will probably make an ADR at 50's for lunch and only use 1 credit. We'll share an appetizer, sandwich and a dessert.....that's plenty of food for us for lunch. Be creative so you get to try lots of place :)
