My DH and I are coming to the world in January 2009 and he wants to stay at a Deluxe resort. He watched the planning dvd and says he's interested in the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, The Contemporary, and Beach Club.
Obviously the first three have the advantage of the monorail and the last has the proximity to Epcot and DHS.
He's here for the golf and I'm going to hit the parks everyday solo. We like fine dining and want to eat at Victoria and Albert's, California Grill, etc.
We probably are not going to spring for a great view (theme park etc) and we are not pool-people so Stormalong Bay (in January) isn't a big selling point for us.
Any recommendations?

. We love the tropical surroundings and the overall feel of the resort
. I say look at the theme of each resort and go with the one that is more to your liking. You will have a great trip regardless of which resort you choose as they are all nice resorts
. Good luck with your decision
