Recommendations for an offsite hotel for a young couple

Hi guys!

Myself and DBF are heading to the world 07/23/15-07/30/15 and staying at Art of Animation for the first time (we did Pop last year). We love to feel the disney bubble and totally act like kids while we are there.

This year we are heading to Orlando 07/18/15 to do a few gasp non-disney things (universal, beach, etc). For this we would really like to say offsite and rent a car to get around. Any suggestions are welcomed! We are hopping for a more grown up/romantic feel then AoA. As for amenities we would only care that it has parking and a nice pool, extra bonus points if it was a king bed and free breakfast. Budget: under 100 for sure ideally under 80.

Please let me know your experiences. It is so much harder to figure out offsite accommodations then onsite so I'm a bit lost.

Royal Pacific at US - a little over you budget but so worth it.
Cabana Bay at US, not as romantic but a very nice hotel, Great Pool. We spent a day just hanging around the hotel and loved it.
