We are taking our baby boy to Vero Beach and Disney in May, when he will be six months old. What attractions/activities do you recommend for this young age? Thank you!

Any of them without height restrictions. They will enjoy looking at everything.

My DS went at almost 3 months and 4.5 months, and again at 8.5 months, and he really enjoyed anything with music and lights. He wasn't scared at all on Pirates...we did wait until he was older before we went on the safari at AK, but he enjoyed boat rides, Peter pan, it's a small world and the other fantasyland rides. He also seemed to like the TTA- he napped best there!

let's see....6 months old? hmmm....I suggest lots of warm bottles,(or nursing)...maybe a clean diaper,a pacifier if needed,um....a good baby carrier and stroller...... and Mom and dad of course! other than that a 6 month old is good just about anywhere, with the exception of the dark and noisy places you'll find....like Stitch, etc.;)But I found that if caught unexpectedly in dark or noise, the aforementioned bottle/nursing took care of things to keep baby happy.

Anything that YOU want to go on!!! and doesn't have a height restriction, other than that it is a bit silly to attribute a 6 month old having any input. OK I'll give you maybe something very, very loud but that is just physical comfort not caring what it is............

All of that.

DS went where we went, and was happy where we went, because he had me, his milk, me, DH, me (the kid was attached!)....

We didn't realize we liked Disney until DS was 17 months old, unfortunately.

But loud noises weren't fun for him, and fireworks were dealt with while in the hotsling...one ear against one of his two favorite parts of me, one ear with sweater between ear and sling, with my hand over it... And he HATED when I sat down while wearing him, so something loud that involved me sitting would NOT have worked for him.

He's obviously VERY new, so just figure out his personality as it develops, and if he likes sitting with you while you're wearing him that's a bonus, and if that helps with loud noises, woo!
