Recommendations anyone? Character Breakfast and Birthday meal

We are leaving in ONE...yes one day and this trip was a BIG surprise for us. I need a recommendation for a character breakfast that our kids would like (ages 2,5,6 all boys). We are regulars at Disneyland and absolutely do not like the food at Goofy's Kitchen so if anyone that has been to both WDW and DL, please keep that in mind. Also, hubby will be celebrating his birthday and I wanted to know if there was a place that we should go to for lunch and dinner. Dinner would just be for me and the hubby.

I seriously recommend you call Disney Dining immediately 1-407-WDW-DINE and make an ADR. You may be limited in your choices since it is so late.

My favorite character breakfasts are:

Cape May Cafe (BC) - Buffet with Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale
Chef Mickey's (CR) - Buffet with Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, Donald
O'hana's (Poly) - All-you-can-eat family style with Lilo & Stitch
Crystal Palace (MK) - Buffet with Pooh

I've never been to Goofy's Kitchen so I cannot compare these to it.

As for an adult dinner I recommend California Grill (CR), Jiko (AKL) and Artist Point (WL)

What a fantastic surprise!

We love the Chef Mickey's breakfast with classic characters (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald) which are good for my son. Food is varied, plentiful and good and great character interaction. I've never been to dL, so I don't know how it compares with Goofy's Kitchen

For a quiet birthday dinner, our favorites are Cali Grill (Contemporary), Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge and Bistro De Paris in Epcot. Some of these ADRs may be tough to get on short notice.
