Recommendation on tough case for iPad 2

Another vote for the Griffon Survivor. It does add a considerable amount of weight though, but the amount of protection is well worth it. It has a stand, but I don't use it often. My only complaint is it is sometimes difficult to press right at the edge of the screen; a little more force is required (where the built in screen protector joins the rubber).

The ipods/phone have the Otterbox.

The ipad has the Survivor case. I do want my dh to take it off since it looks dirty but that will be his job to fight it in the snow.

Both are good so I don't think you will go wrong with whatever one you choose.

Each of our girls DD9 & DD2 have life-proof cases, I know they are little on the expensive side but I couldnt bare the thought of them dropping and shattering, and they are waterproof! Totally worth the price, heck you already spent that much on the iPad itself :)

I sat in on a speech therapy session yesterday with a group of special needs preschoolers from my class. The therapist has some great apps on her iPad to teach the kids colors, vocabulary, action words, etc. Twice, I watched her iPad fly across the room, courtesy of a new student who is still learning to wait his turn and be gentle with the equipment. Thanks to an Otterbox Defender, the iPad was unscathed and continue to work just fine. After witnessing that little display, I would recommend it!
