I was at a home party last night and the hostess had a Griffin Survivor case for her iPad. I hadn't seen one before and it looked like it is solid protection! She said her 16 month old drops her iPad with no damage done to it.
I have a folio style case for the past year but it drives me nuts. I don't like flipping the case open & around the back. Plus the iPad doesn't seem to quite fit perfectly... I have to push the iPad around a bit when I use the camera. Which I use quite a bit now to scan food products with the myfitnesspal app.
So I started researching Griffin, and came across the Otterbox Defender, and the Gumdrop DropTech & Military Edition DropTech. I'm trying to figure out which one I think I like best.
Do any of you use these? How do you find them? Are the ports easy to keep open when you need to use them, or do they bounce back a bit blocking for example the camera? Any pros or cons I should be aware of?
