Looking for recommendations for only two nights in a LBV hotel with transportation to the park. Planning to visit Epcot. Short visit this time.

We have stayed at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista which is right across the street from Disney Springs. It’s nice and has a walkway over the road to safely walk to DS. Never used their transportation but I know it exists … if you sign up for mouse owners there are some perks when you book via their link or corporate code. Other than that I would suggest a value (POP) or moderate (PO or Coronado) on property if reliable and convenient park transportation is a focus.

If you are trying to keep cost down and still have convenience, I would also look to book a value onsite. These days it is hard to do parks without early entry--even with Lightning Lane. Value will get you that extra time and reliable, frequent bus transportation (or even Skyliner). Also depending on when you're going, there may be room discounts, and no resort/parking fees either.

I have stayed offsite at various places (Marriott Village properties, Hilton LBV, Vistana Resort), but always with a car, so can't comment on the transportation. But it is also easy to Uber/Lyft to parks, it's not that pricey and honestly it's worth it for the convenience. Offsite properties will not run buses with the same frequency.

Haven’t stayed there yet, but we have a one night reservation at the Drury Inn. Close to Disney Springs, free evening drinks and “snacks” (more like a meal) and free breakfast buffet. They offer transportation to the parks also. Seems like a good deal and many on these boards have said it’s great. Mousesavers saved us 15% and $10 on parking.

We stayed here once in its best western days, it was a nice property but it’s at the end of the street so a much further walk to DS for us. Did they keep the parrot in lobby? It was entertaining

Might try posting this on the Orlando Hotels subforum. This one is for Disney hotels.

I have long been a fan of the Disney Springs Hotels. Once upon a time, this was the Lake Buena Vista Hotel Plaza but has had several identify changes since. Similar to Disney properties, you get a) proximity to Disney Springs, b) included bus transportation to and from the parks throughout the day, c) early entry to to the parks. Prices are usually less than on-property hotels, room quality and resort amenities are a mixed bag but often exceed Disney hotels, and you may get added perks and point earnings if you're a member of one of the hotel affinity programs (three are Hiltons). As someone said earlier, the Hilton Lake Buena Vista is the most convenient if you'll be spending any time at Disney Springs. It is literally across the street. It's a large hotel with very nice grounds, recently remodeled rooms, a huge pool and typical Hilton service. I've stayed there a couple of times and very much enjoyed it. The Drury Plaza is only a few years old and Drury is known for their service, including free breakfast and evening reception, and they typically have very reasonable rates. Another favorite is the Doubletree since all the "rooms" are actually two-room suites. The only drawback with both of these is they are the farthest out from Disney Springs. It's still walkable to DS, but not across the street.

The Disney Springs hotels have both frequent transportion and early entry. Some of them are within a reasonable walking distance to Saratoga Springs, if one desires WDW transport.

Disney Springs hotels do have frequent transportation, but I would highly recommend taking Lyft/Uber. From my experience the buses dropped at 2 parks in one trip. Overall, it just eats up a bunch of time.

If you are not set on the LBV area, there are some decent hotels in the Flamingo Crossing area. No transportation, but you can ride share and they do include breakfast. They are reasonably priced, too. We had friends stay there for a night before checking into a Disney resort.

have you looked at the Dolphin? It can be pricey for a long stay but I almost booked a couple of nights there on points. Since you're interested in Epcot, their boat directly to World Showcase would be a nice perk.

If you really want convenience to Epcot, try the Swan, Dolphin, or any Disney hotel on the Skyliner route.

Both of the Hiltons near Disney Springs have bus transportation included. It runs once an hour and requires a reservation, but there's no extra cost.
