We're bringing our DD(4) to WDW in September. We were last there a when she was a few weeks shy of turning 3 and we brought our Britax B-Ready stroller. We loved having it, but it was too big and bulky for the bus. I've been looking at umbrella strollers, but am unsure of which one to get. She's a tall kiddo (already 40 inches) and I want to get one she's comfortable in.

MacLaren Volo - love it. Super lightweight, easy to fold up & carry, navigates well. Biggest downside is the price but I think it's worth it.

Up until recently, we have traveled with our City Mini and it is a GREAT stroller. We just upgraded to the City Mini GT and will be bringing that instead, but so far it is awesome!! We absolutely LOVE it!

Agree 100%. Our first year we went with a double for our twins, the next year we opted to get them each a single Maclaren and it is so much better. They fold nicely and are very lightweight and easy to carry. My son is very big for his age (4 years, 43", 42 lbs) and is comfortable in his maclaren.

The macclarens are good choices. A little more pricy than other umbrellas but more features

I love my Perego Pliko P3. Unfortunately they don't make them any more. I took my niece to a baby store to try out some strollers before our trip. Everyone on the Dis was saying how great the Maclaren strollers were. I did not like that my niece looked squashed and it made her shoulders roll in. For more features than the most expensive model of Maclaren I was getting the P3 for about the same price as the base model. The P3 is a bit larger in size than the Maclaren but it can stand upright when folded. Has a flat back to it and reclines almost flat.

We use a Peg Perego Book, because like the Pliko, it allows our child to sit upright, and that is the only way I can get him to stay in a stroller. It folds up pretty easily, has a great canopy and a good basket. It is not as lightweight as some others, but it is very easy to push.

I just got a used lightweight Combi for $15!. We had another one that had a few more bells and whistles - also lightweight - when we went in 2010 - but someone misused it and broke the canopy. My son is 5 - so I don't need much. We travel light - so the small basket underneath is great. There is a recline feature, a sun canopy and it moves easily. There are not any cup holders, but I might buy one to attach. It also folds quickly and very flat - which is great for buses. It is also super-light with a carry strap. I'm not sure if Combi is still out there - but if you are looking used - there may be some around.

Another vote for MacLaren! Ours has made 3 trips to Disney already and is still a perfect fit for my 4 yr old. We bought ours new on eBay, but it was last years model and we saved a lot. My husband and I still comment about how we think that was one of our very best purchases. It is very durable, but easy and quick to fold especially when using the buses or monorail. It is also very light weight so that we can easily carry it up steps if elevators are too busy, and it steers easily with one hand.

Do you plan on having more kids? If not, I wouldn't invest in one of the pricier strollers suggested. Either rent one or buy second hand. This may be the last time she's in a stroller and I wouldn't want to throw all that money away for one use. We have one of the basic graco strollers that came in a bundle with a car seat as a gift. I think it was about $150 total, so without the car seat, probably $50 or less. My 5 year old son still fits comfortably in it and it has been great for Disney 3 times and other trips. Unfortunately we will have 3 kids on our next trip and have to retire it.

We have a city mini and love it...Easy to fold and huge canopy. Maybe you can find one at a yard sale or rent one as that is what most rental places use.

I haven't used them in Disney, but we have a First Years Ignite (not made anymore but often pops up on Craigslist) and a Jeep Cherokee lightweight stroller, which is just like the Kolcraft Cloud on Amazon. Both are light, fold easily, and fit my almost 4 year old very well still. The Kolcraft Cloud is around $50-70, sometimes cheaper on Amazon or Walmart.com.(Tip: Recline the back before you fold it or it will buckle in the middle. That's the biggest complaint on Amazon, but it is in the directions.) It has a tray that snaps off, a decent sized basket, and a parent tray with 2 cupholders. It has a good sized sunshade, too. Ours has been our main stroller for almost 4 years and it's really done everything we've wanted it to and then some.

We bought a Double Citi Mini with Disney in mind and we love it. When I took one of my twins I rented a single and I'm now looking for one second hand. The huge canopies, one step easy fold, ability to lay the seat flat, ease of pushing, and storage space make it the ideal park stroller for us.
