I love interesting documentaries and indpendent movies. I've watched the following lately.
Save a Pencil for Me: about a couple who survived WWII and a work camp together and are still married over 60 years later!
Young at Heart: about a group of 70+ old seniors who are a part of chorus. This chorus sings updated songs and travels all over the world.
Prom Night in Mississippi- about a high school in Mississippi who until very recently (2008 if I recall correctly) has segregated high school proms-- for the white students and the black students. Morgan Freeman comes to the school and proposes an integrated prom.
You Don't Know Jack: Not a documentary. Al Pacino, Susan Sarandon and Brenda Vaccaro star in this movie about Jack Kevorkian. It was very good.
