Just watched Serenity and am very impressed

Thing is, I now need some recommendations as to what to watch next. Suggestions anyone?

if you can tolerate subtitles there is an interesting Swedish vampire film called
"let the right one in" that is different

Finding Neverland is a good one, and how can you go wrong with Johnny Depp?

Do you like musicals? I recommend RENT or Sweeney Todd

I just love Serenity.

Did you try the movie of Stargate with Kurt Russell. It is a great one. I also like another of his movies called Soldier. Kind of sad but improves with time.

A few movies I really love are The Fall, Pan's Labyrinth, Requiem for a Dream, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, The Road, Penelope, The Orphanage, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Royal Tenenbaums, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Bottle Rocket, Rushmore.... I'm sure there is more. That's just off the top of my head.

I have a bad feeling we'll only be getting 3 seasons. They're moving Fringe to Fridays starting in January, which is basically the kiss of death. I'm really hoping such an amazing show can overcome the awful new time slot.

Friday = Death these days, and has for years. It's where they put shows out to pasture. Firefly, Wonderfalls, and other good shows were given Friday time slots (never even tried in a better weekday slot) and died very fast deaths, often with only 4 or fewer episodes being shown.

I agree I love Firefly, Buffy and Angel. Oh and we can not forget Joss's Mini-web musical series Dr Horrible

Joss Whedon is amazing and I really miss having a Joss series to watch.
