We are looking for a restaurant for Christmas Dinner that will serve a traditional "Christmas Fayre" (turkey etc) and not a themed food meal.

We would prefer to not go to the parks as they will be far too busy so I suppose the resorts or non-Disney hotels are an option.

There will be two families, each with two adults and two kids aged 10 and 6. That's eight of us alltogether.

TIA

We went to Trails End last year and it was wonderful. They have their usual good buffet but then they have turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, ham, pumpkin pie etc. The atmosphere is very family oriented and laid back. I think it is the best!!

I know you said not in a park, but I highly recommend Liberty Tree Tavern for Christmas Dinner at the Magic Kingdom. We went in 2004 for Christmas and we loved it. They serve, roasted turkey breast, carved beef, and boneless ham, with mashed potatoes, vegetables, stuffing, and Macaroni and Cheese. :thumbsup2

Or how about someplace like BOMA... It's not in the parks and it's a fairly quiet resort. They will have "traditional" fare AND "different" foods for those who are more adventuresome. Not only that, their food is GREAT!!!

Ooh, Liberty Tree Tavern in Mk! THey have turkey and mashed potatoes etc. A true Christmas dinner!
