Recommend Grocery Store near AKV?

I was not impressed with the Publix near AKV. So many of the other Publix are much nicer with a much better selection. I much prefer to shop at the Target near AKV.

There is a brand new Publix in Watertower Plaza on 192 near Celebration. It replaced the Publix at Xentury City a few months ago. It is a slightly more upscale store than the Xentury City one and they have a great take-away section in their deli with a fantastic selection of freshly prepared hot foods, salads and other items. Basically use the same directions as going to Xentury City, but instead of turning left off of I-Drive South into the closed store, you'll continue to 192 and make a right. After the overpass, the Publix will be in the Watertower Plaza on the left.

Liked the Xentury Publix but love the new one at the Watertower. Didn't try the prepared foods though. Will have to remember that for the next trip.

Thanks as well I will be at Kidani in two weeks. The location of the Publix and Target are very close and convenient.

If you are driving from the airport or 95, the one at the Watertower will probably be best time-wise. Personally, I strongly prefer it over the Super Target or the Publix near it.

That Publix doesn't appeal to me either. Too dark for one thing. Still if I were already staying at AKL and just needed to pick up one or two more things, I might go there. But the Publix at Watertower is sooo much nicer IMO.

We got to either the Publix or the Walmart on the 535. It is not right by AKV but not that far with a car. The added benefit is we love smokey bones for dinner and there is one just outside Publix.

Will have to check out that new Publix next trip.

We usually stop at the Publix or Super Target, most often the ST because we wind up needing to get sunscreen or goggles, things like that.

That area also has some great dining spots as well. They are quick and convenient to the AKV area.
