Recommend Express Plus Passes? August Crowd?

I went to Frommer's web site for crowds at Universal in Aug. We will be there the week of the 11th through the 17th. I have not decided what days we will be going but they have Universal as busy and over hour waits in line. If I get the express pass (I know they only sell limited amounts per day) is it worth it? I would buy them in advance on line and would not wait till we got to the park.

We never recommend that you buy them in advance. They are date specific and if something happens and you change your mind about what day to go, you are out of luck. You can purchase them inside the parks at most stores after you see if you think you'll need them.
