Due to the horredous hike in VA flight prices at the moment we have had to change our dates.Having already booked SSR for ten nights and AKL for 4 nights through DVC points we may have to add another night prior to the holiday. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to spend one night with DVC points? I have stayed at OKW and will be staying at SSR and AKL. It seems a waste just one night but we have no option really apart from stay off site but not driving so need magical express. To change the SSR booking would cost £25 so we may as well add another night. The date will be the 18 september so will need to check on the DVC availibility board what is availible. Also will disney move the bags for us or will we have to get a taxi? Quite fancy BLT and the person I am renting off owns there.
thanks in advance:lovestruc

If you don't want to rent additional points, you could also stay at a moderate resort (depending on the size or your party) as well for 1 night. (if you're coming in late, it might not be worth it to spend the points vs. the cash cost on a moderate). Magical express would handle that as well, and bell services would move your luggage.

Will anyone in your party be purchasing an annual pass? You may be able to get a ~50% off cash discount for the one night at a value resort or moderate. Otherwise - I'd try for a value room at AKL or studio at OKW for the one night on points - Disney will move everything for you.

Thankyou. Will not be buying an annual pass as wont be returning next year. Staying at a moderate will cost more than a night with DVC points so going to do DVC . As staying at AKLV will probably try BLT or BW.

Well you certainly can't go wrong with either one of those;). Have a great time.

We're doing a split stay with one night at a different resort this year... We booked a MK view at BLT 11 months out. We ended up getting great airfare on Jet Blue... $124 round trip for Rochester NY, direct flights both ways & 1st checked bag free!(had to book ROC departure a day earlier to get this deal) Unfortunately, this was at 7 month and MK view was not available at BLT for the additional night. We could've booked a Lake View, but opted to stay at VWL for the night, since we haven't stayed there yet.
Good luck!
