My mom and I will be eating at Ragland Road on our upcoming September trip and I was wondering what some of the best choices for apps/entrees/desserts are?

Thanks :flower:

We highly recommend the guinness ribs, colcannon, and bread pudding although everything was very good.

I love the scallop forest, fish/chips, hubby loves Kevins Kudos. The colcannon is fantastic. For desserts, we have tried them all, they are all fantastic, however, we keep going back for more of the bread pudding. (Just don't dump all the sauces on it)

DH and I ate there last night. If you check the pics thread, you can see what we ate. We loved the Dalkey Duo (sausages), and we had the Shepherd's Pie and Sirloin as our main dishes. As for desserts, we had the Raspberry Riot (new on the menu, not listed at allearsnet yet) and the Bread and Butter Pudding. Both were extraordinary.

Bottom line, doesn't seem like you can go wrong with Raglan Road, foodwise. Try to make a later reservation so that you can see the band - they're AWESOME!!

ok, super yummy. I loved it. I had like a crab salad appetizer that has tempura shrimp on top...wife had the irish stew, son had the dalkey duo....
It was my fave restaurant, and was trying to get a second shot. The fish and chips were amazing..
ummm raglan road.....

Thanks for all the recommendations.

Everythings sounds so good! It will be hard making a choice!

8:00ish - the first set lasts over an hour and uses traditional instruments/arrangements (i.e. no bass or drum kit). The second set is Irish music with bass and drum kit and then the later sets are all more "rock" and contemporary music with Irish flair.

My favourite was the first set! Best tip would be to book your ADR for 8:00 on a Friday night - that's what we did! :)

DH loves Kevin's kudos, and I love the Bangers and Mash. We both love the bread and butter pudding! :cloud9:
