Quick review, tried the Fried Catfish from The Garden Grill last night using the recipe on www.allears.net. Tasted no where as good as it did at Garden Grill. I didn't deep fry it-just pan fry in canola oil so none of the breading stayed on. I think it also had to do with the catfish. I got it at our local A&P and it just didn't taste the same. I know the Garden Grill uses the catfish raised in the Land pavillion. And the breading was definitely different. Just a heads up for those trying to recreate the dish.
On a better note, also tried the Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes from Le Cellier and they were delicious! Used the reader tip to watch how much milk used and they were right, didn't use the full amount that recipe required. This recipe was definitely a keeper.
