Hi All,

We just returned from the Wonder and I am looking for the recipe for the banana bread they serve in Parrot Cay, does anyone have this or know where to get it?

It was so good, I would love to try making it at home.

Thanks.

I want the maple glazed salmon from AP. Maybe we should demand a DCL recipe book. Now that would be a nice stateroom gift for CC members! :D

I emailed DCL directly for the Coconut Java recipe and they sent me a reply within a couple days. Go to Disneycruise.com and "Contact Us". Then send the email. Good luck.

there is a DCL cookbook at WDW. I wasn't thrilled by the food, so I kind of laughed at the cookbook, but it was there. We saw it in Magic Kingdom, so you could probably contact Guest Services at WDW and they could ship it to you!:earseek:

I am looking for the Fish Soup recipe from Palo. They use to make it with white wine and a cream sauce and I loved it. My boyfriend at the time got the recipe for us from the Chef at Palo. We broke up and he got the recipe, didn't think about it until I was going on the 10/23 cruise. I was so excited to get the recipe again, it was not the same soup, I hated it, it was red and had like a bisque taste. I asked the waiter and he said it has been 2 years since they made the one I fell in love with.

Anyone have the old recipe for me? I remember something with cream, white whine, garlic, and seafood.

I have the Cooking With Mickey and the Disney Chefs cookbook.

I found the Maple-Glazed Salmon:

Maple Glaze:
1/4 cup brandy
1 and 1/4 cups maple syrup
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

1. Place the brandy in a pan, ignite and flambe for 5 seconds
2. Add the syrup and heat
3. Whisk in the cornstarch mixture, and simmer 5 minutes while stirring. Cool to room temperature.

Salmon:
4 seven ounce fillets
Olive Oil
Coarse Salt

1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Brush the salmon with olive oil and season with coarse salt. Place in a preheated saute pan and sear both sides
3. Place on a baking sheet. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of the Maple Glaze on each salmon fillet. Place in preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or unti desired doneness.

To serve:
Place a portion of the Onion-Mashed pototaes in the middle of each plate and place the salmon on top.

2. Drizzle with the remaining Maple Glaze

Oh the banana bread was yummy. How about the Strawberry soup (which I was afraid of but now miss terribly!!)

I love the cream fish soup from Palo as well as the mango soup they served for embarkation lunch. Anyone have either recipe?

Do a search on here for the mango soup. I know I posted it within the last year or so, even adjusted for smaller quantities.

I'm sorry but I don't know how to post the link but I just searched and found it on page 2 of the results.

A DCL cookbook is a great idea too. I'd buy one

How about the recipe for Planters Punch? We have the one for Konk Cooler, but I really liked Planter's punch too.:drinking1

Thank you Sandy. I found it. You are now one of my favorite people!!!!! I was hesitant to try it but was told it was so good. Glad that I mustered up the courage!

Now if I could get that creamy fish soup recipe from Palo!
