Hello :wave2: I'm trying to find the recipe for the stuffed french toast that is served at CRT for breakfast. I've checked all over the internet and can't quite find the one i'm looking for. Of course I have no trouble finding recipes that are similar, but I really want that one! lol So if anyone happens to have it, could you please post it for me? Thank you sooooo much :earboy2:

I have looked on several sites and the only thing I can find for the CRT is Cinderellas Cheese French Toast but that doesn't sound like what you are looking for. Another DISer wrote on another thread that you can call or write them and they would be happy to give you the reciepe you are looking for. princess:

When I asked for the recipe at CRT, the server said that it was a cheese danish folded in half, dipped in doughnut batter and deep-fried. That's it.

But here's the recipe that I found on http://www.homestead.com/disneyrecipes/index4.html

Cinderella's Royal Table
"Cheese French Toast"
Yield: 8 Servings

2 each eggs
2 cups milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Mix ingredients and set aside.

4 Tbsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Sift ingredients together and add to egg mixture. Allow to stand for 10
minutes.

1 quart frying shortening
6 each cheese danish cut in quarters
Cinnamon/sugar

Dip cut cheese danish into the egg batter. Bring shortening to 375 degrees and place dipped bread in fryer until golden brown on one side and turn over to brown other side. Roll in cinnamon/sugar and serve immediately.

Thanks for the replies :flower: I think i'll go ahead and try that one and see if it's what I had!

Are you lookin for that Tonga Toast? In case you are here is the recipe from the Cooking with Mickey Book. Great book!!!

1 Cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 loaf sourdough bread(8 inches long)
2 bananas peeled
1 qt canola oil for frying

1) Mix sugar & cinnamon with fork until thoroughly blended, set aside
2) Slice bread into 4 2inch thick slices
3) Cut each banana in half - crossways, then each piece lenghwise
4) Place bread slice flat on counter & tear our just enought from the middle (do not tear all the way through!) to stuff half a banana into: repeat for each slice of bread
5) In a large pot or deep fryer, hear oil to 350, use a cand thermometer to make certain the oil does not get any hotter or it will burn
6) Gently place bread slice into the oil for 1 minute or until light brown
7) Turn & fry for another minute on the other side
8) Remove bread from pot & toss it in the sugar & cinnamon mixture
9) Repeat for each piece
