recipe from hollywood&vine. Need Help!!!

On our last trip(Aug2002) we ate at hollywood and vine 2 times since it was soooo good. We asked the men behind the counter for the recipe for these rootbeer bourban sweet potatoes. My girlfriend has the recipe but I want to make it for my family for thanksgiving. She said that she will give it to me but while she was looking it over she notice a spice that is in there that she never heard of, neither have I. Has anyone ever heard of timekeeper and if so where the heck can I buy it???

I'm not sure what recipe your girlfriend has but here is the one from my website and the only spice listed is good old ground cloves. Timekeeper? Not sure if you'd want a ground up old Epcot character in your potatoes or not.



Rootbeer Sweet Potatoes Sauce
Hollywood & Vine


1 quart rootbeer
1 cup bourbon
1 ounce lemon juice
6 ounces water
3 ounces corn starch
2 ounces butter
pinch of ground cloves


Mix corn starch with water, set aside. Bring all other ingredients to a boil in a pot. Add corn starch mixture. Sauce is now ready to be poured on sweet potatoes.


Slice fresh sweet potatoes in 1/2" circles, bake in 350 degree oven until soft. Remove from oven, pour glaze over and they are ready to serve.
