Hello
I am going to be going with a party of 10 between the 10 of us we need four all star rooms.
We are being told that I can only book 3 rooms with the pin code. If we booked the 4th room one of the people in our party would not be able to buy the tickets and get free dining with my pin code.

It is 5 adults and 5 kids one kid is over 10

I am looking for suggestions for the the best way to book.
We could move up to Port orleans but that is a big price increase for some of us but we could maybe do 3 rooms then

Thank you!!

could you book 4th room from free ding promo that gets released to general public Mar 5th.

I dont know
I should have mentioned this is for travel in June

Thank you

the value suites sleep 6 so you could do two suites, or one suite and two regular rooms. This would cover all 10 of you either way. 2 suites may even be cheaper than one suite and two regular rooms. The suites are decent and include a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and a separate bedroom. But, the suites are all at all star movies and they will also be at the new art of animation hotel which i think may be open by june.

You are not going to be able to book 4 rooms with your pin code. There just isn't a way to work around it.

Have you compared the cost of booking 3 rooms at POR with your pin vs. booking 3 "free dining" rooms + 1 room-only discount room (made into a package by adding dining and tickets)? You may find that the total price of upgrading to the moderate resort is not more.

A couple of problems with your statement.

  1. The family suites are not included in the free dining promotions.
  2. The family suites have kitchenettes, not full kitchens.

We have it is just the way for it breaks up per family it makes the price for the family that needs the 1 room at the all star a lot more.

Sorry but you're still not going to be able to book 4 rooms with the pin code, no matter what. So someone is either going to have to pay more for their room or everyone can offer to make up the difference for the family that gets "stuck" with the undiscounted package.

You could put all of their kids in one or two of the reservations with the "free dining", and that way the parent(s) would only have the added cost of paying for their own dining out of pocket.

Would it make sense to BOOK 4 people in one room and 3 in two room totalling 10 people and then book a room only for actual sleeping?

But who's name could you use for the room-only? Every one in the party would already be booked in other rooms. You can't be in two places at the same time - Disney won't book it that way.

I was thinking of doing something like that like maybe my wife books the main room. Put my name under her and make a second reservabtion under my Name Jr. or something like that

Are you all really close? Could you just split the one dining plan among the four groups? So it would be like everyone gets a good discount, instead of 3 free and 1 paid? (If you can't figure a way otherwise. And, I know you'd have do this among yourselves, not through disney...)

I don't know if Disney will allow the one person to be booked in two different rooms. And I wouldn't book a room with a false name just to get around it. You need to provide ID at check in.

Is there a reason why you absolutely have to have 4 rooms and not 3? You could easily fit 10 people in 3 rooms without any instance of crowding.

If you must have four rooms, I would put only one adult on the fourth room reservation, and split the cost of dining among everyone. You're really going to have to do the somewhat tricky math ahead of time though, so you can let everyone know exactly what they will be paying.

Yep that way you get free dining for 9 out of 10 people. They don't have to sleep in the room they're assigned but the dining credits would be a confusion because they'd be on the room keys of the 3 rooms that got the credits.

I was going to suggest this as well. Is there not a way to share three rooms among everyone? Maybe put the kids together in one room if you get adjoining rooms?

Have all parties going signed up on the WDW website, ordered a planning DVD, etc.? Have they called - maybe one of them also have a pin code?

Everyone doesn't need to provide id at check in. Only one person from each room.

I would book all 10 into the 3 rooms using only a couple of the addresses and then book 1 person into the 4th room as a room only (maybe see about a room discount) and use their real address.

Then you all can figure out sleeping arrangement as you wish and everyone would have the free dining. Although you'll have to pay an extra $10 per night per extra adults in the room (only 2 adults included in the room) so that's something to keep in mind too.

I would book 10 in 3 rooms and a 4th room to work out the sleeping. Might even work out in your favor if there is a code for the 4th room.
