Help!!! I need a new P&S digital camera to bring with me to Disney. I've had Fujis in the past, they've all used AA batteries, and I've loved the cameras. My most recent got knocked out of my hand while at Disney this past November, and crashed and burned. I've been using my backup 4mp ever since, but it doesn't have the quality I want and need. It seems the majority of P&S use the rechargeable lithium batteries, but I'm so paranoid to use them, mainly because I love the comfort of using AA batteries, you can get them anywhere, plus I've found that the Energizer lithium AAs last a really long time, and I like that I can carry extras with me. How long does the rechargeable lithium battery last, do I need to buy another one to have with me as backup, and am I worrying for nothing?

AAs are cheaper because a four pack of rechargeables is only about $8. You do need to have a backup battery for the lithiums, which can sometimes run up to $50. I actually have both kinds. Our new little p&s has the lithium, but my DSLR uses AAs. Look at the Canon "A" line. They all use AAs.
