Reception Help?

Hi everyone!

So lately I have been around these forums and it has been amazing help just reading past posts. However I think I may need a bit more direct attention.

My DF and I have a tentative hold on the Pavilion with Whitehall & Patio for our brunch reception. We are looking at right now 33 guests that includes 2 kids and a baby

We however aren't sure about the reception location, DF hates the carpet and drapes in the Whitehall room.

So we are also looking at the Atlantic Dance hall, and American Adventure Parlor. What do you all think based on experience and the like? Does anyone have pics of a small wedding at the Dance hall? Or pics from the other two places?

Thanks everyone! I just want to make sure she is the happiest that can be so my personal choice is a bit hard to make cause I cant not think about her

Most people seem to like the Whitehall though.

Thanks for those links! As much as I have been researching I have yet to stumble upon all of those links, I only ever saw the AAP one, Didn't think to check the same site for the other locations.

One thing to consider is that if you have your reception somewhere other than the Grand Floridian, you will need to pay for transportation for all your guests. With only 33 people, you can get away with cheap 8-passenger vans, though.

Most people seem to like the Whitehall though.

I have no pics to share of ADH, but my daughter also did not like the carpets and drapes at the Whitehall room----though she loved the patio area as did we all. Also had a small wedding party---42. She chose Ariel's but as Carrie mentioned you do need to budget in the transportation. I did exactly as Carrie suggested this past April and we used three 8 passenger vans---much easier on our budget than the shuttle.
