Hello all!! :wave2:

The other day, I saw pictures of a couple that had their ceremony at Sea Breeze Point and the reception at Epcot. It was in the World Showcase, overlooking the lake with about 25 guests and a buffet service set-up for dinner.
These photos have really perked my interest. I'm hoping to be able to do this at about 7:00pm, lasting through Illuminations (It looked like they did it in the early evening and there were no fireworks pictures, so I assume they finished before it got dark) I would love to have a dinner reception and dessert party all in one! Has anybody done this or looked into doing this? I'm curious about the cost and the limitations. Any help you could provide is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

From the group size I would speculate it was a Custom Wedding, and yes, it can be done that way. Another possible route would mean you probably couldn't wear your wedding dress, but could do something similar. If you had an Intimate Wedding, and then arranged through Group Dining for dinner at an EPCOT venue ending with dessert in time for Illuminations it would be a different path to the same type of event for fewer people. Not sure if or how much you would save on the budget though...

Thanks for the info ahutton! We are having an intimate wedding. :D

Or you could pay the minimums and have a private party arranged through EPCOT Catering Services and have an Illuminations Party with hot food - I'm pretty sure that Intimate Brides can arrange this.

Oh, that's a great idea, thanks Sam! Does anyone know (approximately) what the minimums are? Or are they the same as what was posted on a previous thread in regards to the Illuminations dessert party?

Thanks, everyone :earsgirl:

If you will PM me an address I'll forward the information I received last time we looked at planning an EPCOT party. It is 2 rather large documents, one for EPCOT, one for MGM and Fantasmic. Each may offer ideas for the others. On top of this we've also discussed doing beef carving stations and such, but I don't have price lists for those. Let me know...

I HAVE SEEN THIS INFO ON YOURFAIRYTALE.COM. I KNOW AT EPCOT THERE'S A FEE OF I BELIEVE $12 PER PERSON IF YOUR GUESTS DONT HAVE PARK TICKETS FOR THAT DAY. HOPE THIS SITE HELPS FOR PRICE & MENU IDEAS.

Thanks to everyone for their help!

Ahutton - Thank you so much for offering to send me the info, that was very sweet!!:p However, my mom has come up with another plan that I think will work out much better for us. So I don't think we're going to do the Epcot reception afterall. There I go, changing my mind again! LOL
