I am so glad my kids are not picky they loved the food at ohana we never even mentioned a kids menu. They had enough chicken strips and mac and cheese to last a lifetime.
We ate there Monday night and the food was great. I wasn't so keen on the dumplings (much prefered the old wontons,) and the skewered shrimp were lovely, but quite spicy.
I don't think so...there is not really a Kids menu though...when you arrive ask the server if there is anything else the kids can order (such as mac and cheese, etc.) because you do not think they will eat the traditional food...they most of the time offer the kids menu from Kona because they share a kitchen.
Were the pork dumplings fried or steamed??? I loved the old fried ones they had several years ago, but recently saw someone post they were steamed when they were there....anyone?
We ate there on 2/4 and the pork dumplings were steamed...and pretty gross. It seems later on in the week they were served fried.
The bread was pretty unappetizing, also. The shrimp on the skewer was FANTASTIC...much better than the way they used to serve it. I never liked the sausage, so we didn't miss it at all.
