On All Ears, I just saw that 'Ohana's menu was "updated" again. Has anyone been there with the new menu?

Looks like the only change really is the addition of Pork Dumplings and them removing the Won Ton chips. We LOVED the won ton chips, esp in the peanut sauce but also really missed the filled won tons.

According to the menu they also got rid of the sausage and went back to shrimp on skewers instead of serving it with the appetizers.

Yes-

no sausage, no shrimp app, no wontons

and they added

bread, pork dumplings and shrimp skewers.

I *think* that's it.

Well, they kept the dessert (the best part) but I still remember those yummy shrimp wontons from years gone by.

We went to Ohanu last weekend and I must say that the pork dumplings were fabulous!

The shrimp was great too!!

We just ate there Monday and it was great. The pork dumplings tasted like mini eggrolls to me.

Are the skewered shrimp the old shrimp from a couple years ago??

We ate there Monday night and the food was great. I wasn't so keen on the dumplings (much prefered the old wontons,) and the skewered shrimp were lovely, but quite spicy.

Were the pork dumplings fried or steamed??? I loved the old fried ones they had several years ago, but recently saw someone post they were steamed when they were there....anyone?

Are the shrimp skewers already peeled? The shrimp appetizers were too messy for me to peel as I also tried to feed two kids. Already peeled shrimp would be awesome!

Oh yes, sorry I was confusing the old menu the older menu and now the new one. =o)

very excited about the new changes looking forward to going to Ohana's for the first time in May

Can anyone tell me exactly what the childrens menu is that is available upon request? Thanks!, I have a 13 yr. old who really is going to go "green" at the sight of the above offerings :lmao:so I would love to know what to ask for when we get there. Thanks guys!

No Pineapple, haven't had it for a while now. They Bread pudding they have for dessert is amazing though and I do NOT like Bread Pudding!

We ate at Ohanas on Jan. 27th. They hadn't changed the menu yet. I wish we could have tried the new items offered. Although everything they served was wonderful and we had a great time.

My two boys ordered kids meals. The Chef came over and asked what they liked. He didn't offer up any suggestions, so I said chicken fingers, french fries, mac & cheese. He said OK. The chicken fingers and fries were good. The Mac & cheese was not. They need to change the brand they use. It's bland. They also had sundaes for dessert.

I just read on Tikiman's site that pineapple is supposed to be making a return...hopefully by our trip in 20 days!

Sounds good to me, I didn't like the wonton chips anyway. My hubby LOVED the shrimp ( he had three bowls) but he will still be happy with grilled shrimp.

Do you pay extra when ordering from the kids menu? My 12yo is way to picky (drives me crazy:scared: ), however my 2yo will eat almost anything.
