PTN is awesome. So glad we finally got to watch it .We picked out a spot about an hour before the parade started right in front of the zephyr since parade was starting from the pier. At that time very few people were waiting. It was nice to sit and rest after a long day and I didnt mind the wait. My husband and 2 of the kids rode zephyr and later we shared cotton candy. At 830 they announced 15 mins to show time and there was still plenty of space behind us. People were able to get a good view at jus 15 mins out. Parade started about 10 mins late though, so those people waited a bit longer than 15 mins. I imagine it will be more crowded come summer, but viewing did not seem to be an issue.
Disneyland was pretty busy. Lots of school groups in the parks already. It felt warmer than it was. We used Max Pass so we could spend our morning at DL and then hop to DCA later. Went over to Tom Sawyer Island, which is looking good and has good views of Star Wars land.
My son decided that 5 is a brave age and tried out Splash and Guardian's for the first time. He enjoyed both. We also met Chewie and later Captain America, who has a long wait because he interacts with the guests. It was a good birthday day for our little boy. We're all tired. Visiting Knotts today for the first time.
