Would like to have some feedback on how long FP's are lasting now when to get ones for night time and overall feedback since they have been connected

Fastpasses are running out for RSR around 11am-1130am
1030am should be a good time to get a night fastpass for RSR

On Saturday 6/28 we pulled FP's for 5:55-6:66PM at about 11am. Not sure when they ran out.

I wanted night FP's but I didn't want to wait any longer. Things worked out though, since RSR broke down during my return window and I was able to ride it after dark when it was back up.

I got a RSR FP on Sunday June 29 about 11:30 for 8:15-9:15. I originally thought that the fastpasses were running our later than they used to, but now I believe that the ride had been down quite a bit that morning. Since fastpasses are not issued if the ride is down, it can push out the time that fastpasses run out. The park opened at 8:00am that day.

I believe I have heard that there are more Fastpasses being distributed which also makes them last longer.

I have been to Disneyland/California Adventure every year for the last three years, I am going again in a few days and had no idea that the FP for RSR's were not connected!!! I was even there a week after Carsland opened.

I have never been able to get a FP for RSR because it was insane! I rode it once last year in the single rider line. Maybe for once I can get a FP and ride it with my family! :cool1:

Park opened at 8am on 6/28.

I was one of the last at the back of the crowd at rope drop and still tried the wide right technique for the heck of it. Amazingly, wide right even works wonders from the back of the crowd, maybe even better because it seemed like we (me, DW, DS17,and DS20) had tons of room to maneuver through the crowd as they walked the rope in. We were probably about 20th in line for RSR and on the ride in less than 15 minutes. Theoretically we could have done wide right, grabbed FP's right after, and then grabbed another set of FP's when those expired.

Was in DCA this past Sunday, 7/6 and there was still FP at 2:30 for a 8:50 return time. Not bad for a summertime holiday weekend, IMO. :-)

So based on what I am hearing. It is now possible to get two RSR fast passes in one day it would seem

Thanks for the updates. We will be there in a week and I still cannot make up my mind as to whether I should do the wide-right and head for RSR first or hit TSMM and then just grab a FP for RSR later. Decisions, decisions.....

I can't decide either! We will be there on the 21st. I'm leaning towards a RSR FP then hit TSMM. Then hopefully get another RSR FP before they run out. We can't do single rider with our kids as they are too little still.

We were there the 2nd week of June. We were there for rope drop but towards the back of the crowd. I headed towards the RSR fastpass line and the rest of the family went the other way, past Soarin and GRR, to get to the pier area to ride TSMM. I had our fastpasses in my hand within 10 minutes. Walked over to TSMM and got there just as they got off the ride. So we hopped back in line again as it was still only a 10 minute wait. Worked perfectly. Also after we used our RSR FP's we were able to pull another set and I believe the return window on the 2nd set was 6-7pm.

I am thinking at least one day we may do this I don't necessarily think we will HAVE to ride RSR every day we are there but if time allows we will but I would like to do at least one night time ride

This is my hope to do this plan! Thank you for the info =)
