recent resale purchaser with a question

Hi all. I've posted a few times recently as we were going through the resale purchase. Thanks to everyone who answered our questions! The resale process has been very easy (hardest part waiting on ROFR ) We got our closing documents last week and received notice from Fidelity on Tuesday that everything was finalized and it would take disney 1-2 weeks to get us into the system. Well I got a DVC package in the mail today!!!! but all it included was a book with pictures of the resorts and floor plans.....no member number Here's my question: do you think i'm in the system and just need to call member services? or do i need to wait until the account number arrives?? It's only been 3 days. thanks in advance!!!! Can't wait to start planning a summer trip!!!!!

It usually takes about a week after closing, but it sure can't hurt to call MS. I would NOT wait until getting something by mail as that could take weeks.

MS is open until 5:30pm - call and see if they have you in the system already!

I just went through the same thing as op. I called and we were in the system. Here's a tip:if you want to go online, ask for you member ID, your club ID and your 1 time activation code. I had to call twice because I didn't realize I needed all that info. to set up an account.
