Recent Railroad Crowds

How has the wait been to ride the railroad recently? When we visited last month, the wait was obviously long since the RR had just opened back up. Have the crowds calmed down at all or are we still looking at a long wait to ride?

Still pretty long waits, especially at New Orleans. Tomorrowland seems consistently less crowded.

If you ride early enough it isn't too bad. When we were there last month we rode around 10/1030 and hopped on at NOS. Maybe waited 5-7 minutes for the train.

Something happened Tuesday night, we waited for 35 mins and when the train showed up we still didn't get on. People were sprawled out and the CM's didn't make them move closer. I think they were afraid to offend anyone if they asked them to scoot closer. There were some pissed off cussing people that got out of line finally.

I rode on it this past weekend. Like the others said, it's not bad early in the day. We waited maybe 10 minutes. Later in the afternoon I checked the wait time and it was listed as 40 minutes.

Love that ride on the attraction, though.

The wait hasn't been too bad later in the evening. Around 9 pm, the wait is usually around 10-20 minutes at the Main Street station.

We rode it last week (Tuesday) around 5 pm from New Orleans Square. We didn't get on the first train, but did get on the second train. It seemed like an average wait to me. I can see it being longer on the weekends, though.

They were running three trains yesterday (Monday) around 5:30. We waited 15-20 for the third train at the toontown station. There were probably about 25 people in front of us when we got in line.
