We have been staying off site more and more, and I wanted to post a few reviews for any who are interested. We are a family of 5, so our requirements may be different than others. I'll list our pros and cons as I find these helpful to me when planning.
B Resort - Stayed here late February this year for two nights.
Pros:
Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista - Stayed last month for 2 nights

Hope this helps!
B Resort - Stayed here late February this year for two nights.
Pros:
- Great location - 15 min walk to DS. 5 min drive to the parks. Close to outside restaurants/stores
- Easy check in/check out
- Restaurant and cafe on site - sufficient
- Quiet stay, didn't hear anything at night from our room
- Resort fee plus parking fee - totaled $50 for the night (still made the rate $175/night, less than a moderate at WDW)
- Pool was underwhelming - no slide or child splash area
- Room - The room was in the "older" part of the hotel. The carpets were visibly worn, USB ports did not work, only one bathroom and sink, kind of smaller than we are accustomed to.
Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista - Stayed last month for 2 nights
Pros:
- Great location - 7 min drive to the parks
- Great pool/bar area - great kids splash area, indoor/outdoor pool, games, large bar with good service and food
- Easy check in/check out
- Free hot breakfast (they even had a balloon person who made animals and such for our kids)
- Free drinks from 5-7
- Quiet at night
- Room was not up to par with other Embassy's (older/worn)
- It's a vacation resort and we were solicited by their "Hilton Vacation Ambassador" while lounging in pool area. Not a big deal, but was slightly annoying.
- Lots of groups staying so pool area and common areas were crowded.
- Outfacing rooms (they face the pool). We just don't prefer this
Hope this helps!
