Our flight out of LAX isn't till 1:50, we have second seating for dinner. OF course we want to stay on as long as we can so when will DCL finally kick us off the ship? :thumbsup2

Everyone is pretty much off the ship by 9:30. Remember, they need the time to get the ship ready for the next group (which wants to get on as soon as possible).

Since you need to be at the airport at least an hour prior to your flight, and the travel time can be 45 min to an hour to get there, you could probably be OK waiting til last to get off.

That said, you receive luggage tags on your second to last night for your bags. On disembarkation day, the tags are announced at staggered times for debarkation, so that the terminal/baggage pick up areas are not overwhelmed by everyone wanting to get off at the same time. Your luggage tag is issued based on your outgoing transportation info you provided to DCL.

We had a 4pm departure from LAX and Disney nudged our group off the ship by 9:20 while playing pingpong and things. We did notice many people onboard but they were clearing the decks down. We didn't realize it was so late as were wanted to be in the sun having fun, but I would suggest renting a car and doing something if you leave really late. Otherwise its 30 min at most to the airport and LAX is a very boring one at that.

You are asked to be off the ship by 9. At about 9:15, they will start gently but firmly "encouraging" you toward the big doors.
