Recent experiences with 7DMT at rope drop?

Basically struck out on FP+ 60-61 days out, so currently planning to rope drop 7DMT on October 6 and 7 (the latter of which has EMH). If we're at the gates 30-45 minutes before official park open (so 8:15 to 8:30 on the 6th and an hour earlier on the 7th) and hustle to 7DMT, what kind of a standby wait do you think we're looking at?

I should add these are both days with MNSSHP, so I'm hoping morning crowds are "average" at worst.

We did it last december. We got there probably 15 mins before the opening show. We very briskly walked to fantasy land and waited 15 minutes. Once we exited the ride it was about a 45 minute wait. And the park had technically only been open for 5 minutes. There was a Christmas party that day as well

If you do one of the Halloween parties, the wait times for 7DMT are much lower. Last time we were there during a party, we were in and out of the ride in 30 min. And check out the queue just after the party officially starts; if you don't see anyone outside, go in. The wait should be pretty low.

I got to the bark about right before they let us scan our MB to get in so I was one of the first people in line under the tunnel ( left one too) and walked down MS I was about the 5 person in line for 7DMT and walked on when I got off the wait was at 30 minutes.

I have heard that durning wishes the wait can be shorter there are some things to do in line so maybe a 30 minute wait will not be bad.

Would love to know as well! We will be doing a brief morning in MK on the 7th before our party that evening. I was able to grab a FP for 7DMT for that evening right before the party but was hoping to hit it up in the am
