Recent experiences on Ultimate Day of Thrills Tour

Has anyone done this tour recently? Thoughts?

The website says you need valid admission to the parks to go on the tour. Does that mean you need a park hopper or just a regular day ticket?

I’m also wondering if they’d add Slinky Dog to the HS part of the day after it opens.

I am really on the fence about this tour and was hoping someone had experience with it recently. From what I've read you do need a park hopper. Disney's site: "valid admission is required for each park and not included in the price of this tour".
