Recent Disney ROFR info?

Howdy, I am new at Disboards and hoping to buy a resale very soon.

Does anyone have recent Disney "Right of First Refusal" (ROFR) information? Interested in all data, but especially for BWV and BCV. Thanks.

info??? bottom line is if the price is too low disney will buy the points back and your out of luck. Disney has ROFR on every DVC contract. It keeps up the prices up and stable

I just closed on a VWL contact.
11/1/2004 - made offer - They were asking $75 a point and I offered $73
11/2/2004 - Agreed on $74 a point
11/5/2004 - Faxed back signed contract and mailed check, submitted to ROFR
11/12/2004 - heard it passed ROFR
11/23/2004 - signed papers and mailed back with certified check
12/6/2004 - closed

Details:
150 points VWL August Use Year, all 2004 points
Paid $74/point, 2004 dues, closing ($450), Seller paid transfer ($100)

We bought 150 BCV points at $79 each from the Timeshare Store, with 40 banked and 150 coming on April 1st. We passed ROFR in about a week and have sent our certified check and are waiting to close. Let me know if you have any other questions!

We just received word today that we passed ROFR on a VB resale at $67.00 per point. It was for 110 points, September Use Year with all of 2004 points available. Now we are just waiting for closing, so we can start planning a trip "HOME!!!"
