Recent Disney Photography?

Does anyone have pics from 2010? I've seen a lot of terrible photography, but I think it was just a lot of old stuff, and would love to see some more recent photos!

I do, we used them in August and were very happy with the photos, they were great on the day. We had Chris and Mike and they were great with us but also to our guests.

I also have enjoyed working with Disney Photography since we got back (with creating our album, ordering thank you cards and extra prints). They are always very kind and quick to respond.

Check the Disney Wedding Photography Sticky at the top of the Weddings Page-they have some nice examples of DPS photography from this year. Once we get our photos from our 10-10-10 Wedding, the EPCOT Bridal shoot and the Trash the Dress @ Typhoon Lagoon. I will happily post them. We had the best photographer-Stephanie! I hate taking photos and she did a great job. Just from what we have seen so far-wow-DPS has relly stepped up their game!!!

my DBF and I had pictures taken 10/28 at WL. we loved how they turned out. we had an awesome photographer.

I also used DPS, and have pics in my TR (in my signature below). IMHO, I don't think they are the best photographers out there, but I really wanted a park event, so I am happy with my choice.

I agree and definitely not the best price packages!
We went with DPS because it was so easy (and I didn't realize how quickly we would surpass the minimum when I first started planning). They do a great job and will work with you to make sure you get the shots you really want.

We had David and Vicki Arndt as our main photographers, but I absolutely love the pictures from our Disney Photographer, Daryn. David and Vicki said he used to be a Photopass photographer, but I guess was recently bumped up to doing weddings! He was great to work with and I think his pictures turned out awesome!

There seem to be a lot of really good DPS photographers around at the moment. But I think one of the issues is that you don't know for sure who you will get with DPS. Sure, you can request a certain photographer, but, as I understand it, you just don't know for sure whether or not you will actually get them. This would make me a bit nervous!!

I agree, and their prices are higher and DPS is still not offering the great guest service that Disney is known for. When you do have a problem they are not stepping up and taking responsibility like all "good" businesses do. It was hard for me to even get someone to answer the phone at DPS when I had questions. I always got a recorded message. It was frustrating.
I am using DPS for my MK/BP and I am requesting Regina because my photographers told me she was very good.

I 100% agree with you. I had issues with DPS after my wedding (my pictures came way later than my contract stated they would) and it took forever to get a response from someone.

I remember the issues you had, the ones I've had and others who've had their photos done with DPS recently and not so recently.
