Recent Cruisers - Drop off at the Port by non-cruiser ????

If my parents, who are NOT cruising with us, want to drop us off at the port - will they have a problem with secuity? If this is possible, do they drop us off at the same place that DH would drop off in the rental car (prior to returning). Having parents do drop off might save some time so DH could meet up with us quicker.

We have dropped off and been dropped off before No PROBLEM,

They will probably be directed into the parking lot for the drop-off point used by limos and shuttles, but there's no problem using this area.
