Hi all,I have a BCV vacation scheduled for 3rd week in May and we are all very excited as this is our 1st stay at BVC.However,I've been seeing an inordinate number of reviews citing uncleanliness and wear as recent as 1 week ago.The only reviews I trust will be from DISboarders. Can anyone put me at ease-I'm getting a little nervous from those reviews.

I've stayed at the BCV many times and never had a problem. You will always find someone who thought it was nasty and another who thought it was pristine. It just depends. I'm sure it will be fine.

If that's the biggest worry you have, you won't have much to worry about. Enjoy your trip.

Beach Club is a BEAUTIFUL Resort. If you have any doubts Red week.com who is one of the top, if not the top place for renting timeshare weeks have rated Beach Club Resort the # 1 Timeshare out of 100 for the last 3 years. Over many nice resorts in Hawaii,Aruba,Bahamas etc. I am sure you will Love it. I sure do.

We just got back from our first BC villa stay. We have stayed ay BLT, SSR, Kidani, VB, and BW before. We LOVED it! It was very clean and easy walk to everything. Loved the choose your own salad option at the marketplace! Kids loved the counter service ice cream! The only downside we found was the pool area. You get a wrist band to get in and they give you towels but it was so hard to find lounge chairs! We have never experienced this at any other place as bad. People just placed their towels down and never came back! Very selfish! Pool area was large though and pool never seemed too crowded. We were in a 1 BR by the way!

We have stayed at BCV each of the last two Novembers, and liked it enough to buy into DVC with BCV as our home resort. We love it.
It's very relaxing, laid back, plenty to do and incredibly convenient. We recommend it to pretty much everybody who asks.

I think there are people who will go to heaven someday and write a negative review. (not calling BCV heaven, but meaning that some people just seek out anything negative wherever they are.)

I love it there. I was there in March for the 3rd time. Can't wait to go back.

Hi! I just stayed in a studio from April 12-14th we stayed here after the first 3 days being at VWL. Anyway our room was clean so was the hallway. NEverything was in working order, we even had a brand new shower curtain, you could spell the plastic newness. Loved the resort, the villas quiet pool and the marketplace. We weren't very big fans of SAB....i know i know what's wrong with us!!! Anyway our room was on the 4th floor and we had a huge balcony and could see illuminations perfectly, it was a nice treat. Have a great trip!!

Fantastic! Great to hear, thanks everyone. The kids and I are back to doing the HAPPY DANCE!!:cool1::cool1::banana::dance3: 28 days and counting!

Thanks for your review!

What is the make your own salad option at BC Marketplace?

Thanks very much!:goodvibes

I have stayed at the BCV a few times and was very pleased with it. I haven't stayed there since they re-did the pool but I recently was at Boardwalk and several people were talking about how great it turned out. My only question would be what type of view did you take ? Have a great trip, let us know how you make out.

There aren't any views to request at BCV.

In 30 stays there, I can honestly say I have never had an issue with uncleanliness or wear and tear.

We were at BCV in November and were very happy with our home resort :thumbsup2. Everything was in good shape and we will always use our points to stay there. Even the sofa bed was very comfy for my DD12. Can't beat the easy walk to EPCOT for Illuminations and eating at Beaches and Cream late at night. You will have a great time!

They have at the counter all different salad options and you tell them what you want and you end up with this huge awesome salad! It was our best counter service ever! They have eggs, chicken, bacon, sunflower seeds, cranberries, every type of veggie, etc. have a great trip! You will love it there!

We stayed at BCV two months ago in a studio.

The only negative was that I thought the studio room was nothing special! I hate to say this, but it was just like any other basic hotel room. This was our first DVC stay as well, so maybe my expectations were a little high. The room did appear "well-used" but everything was clean and nothing was broken. We didn't spend much time in the room, so it really didn't bother us.

Other than the room, everything else was great...great hotel grounds and location. Everyone was friendly. Food was very good. Stormalong bay was fun.

I would stay there again, but I think for our next trip we are going to try the BV's.

I am sooooooo excited to be staying at the BC in August, I love reading about it! :cool1:

We love BCV because of the location and ease in and out of Epcot and all the great food! DHS is 2 minutes by car and a relaxing boat ride away. We drive to AK but bus to MK.

Our last stay was our first time in a 1 br and was surprised to see a large dried blood spot on the couch. I just flipped the cushion but left a note for housekeeping. I also tightened down all the knobs in the kitchen cabinets. They just get loose from general use and who would think to tighten them.

With the amount of people that come and go, the resort is in great shape.

Every studio you get will basically be the same. Go with a one bedroom villa and you'll be happier.
