Recent BB PTN Experiences

Hi everyone - I'm at Disneyland now and have a BB package on Friday. What time do people actually start lining up at the reserved section? I'll be on an ECV if that makes any difference.

We did the package on Thursday last week (the 18th) we lined up about 30 minutes early and were the 3rd group in line the group in front of us and behind us had ECVs and it didn't seem to make any difference. The had the line running through the center of town square (passed the flag pole) so it was very orderly and out of the way. It was definitely the only way to be front row on Main Street without camping out for AT LEAST 3 hours with the announcement of PtN's departure.

We have not done the packages before but I did notice last Friday we went to the last showing of Mickey and the Magical Lamp then headed over to stake out a spot in front of It's A Small World for the first Parade. There was already a line formed for the Aladdin's Oasis PTN group. If I remember correctly I believe that was around 7:15pm. I was curious why someone would do the dining package and still wait so long. It seemed silly, but the line got long quickly so I guess it was necessary.

I did the BB PTN package in June. CMs tell everyone to line up 30 minutes before parade time; people actually started lining up 30-45 minutes before that to be first when the reserved area opened. I got in line an hour before parade time, and was about 30+ people back. The line behind me was an additional 40-50 people by the 30 minute before parade time. People that actually shows up at that time were upset that they were so far back in line.
