When I was in Disney, I had a package sent from BWV to home on 10/122 - it was a very expensive (and big) globe my dh bought for me. To date, I haven't gotten it yet and I'm getting a little worried. So a couple of questions:

1. How long did it take you to get a package from WDW?
2. Who do I contact and at what number to address this issue?

Thanks!

when we were there last trip i had some xmas ornaments personalized & shipped home. i do remember that it took a few weeks (3 i think). just give it a little longer. :flower:

thank you, that makes me feel better. DH has been getting nervous b/c he was really excited about the globe he got me - it's beautiful - I can't wait to see it again!

I was in WDW last week of August. Sent several packages home. It took about 2 weeks. On your reciept is a number to call if you don't recieve your package soon. Hope it works out OK, but I'm sure it will. I always send packages from WDW and have never had a problem. Contact the number on your reciept and they can track the package. Have a great day!

Our packages took almost 10 business days or 2 weeks (which is what the CM told me it would take). Everything in mine were ok, but in DSis's something was broke but they're sending a replacement. Couldn't believe how well packed everything was. Even sent extra boxes for some things I purchased.

We fed ex'ed a large package home. We shipped it the day before we we left and it was there waiting for us when we got home. We used Fed Ex overnight. We gave all our stuff to the concierge and they brought it to shipping who packaged it all up for us. They packaged it up great..we had glass items and nothing broke :sunny:

You just have to specify how you want it shipped..overnight, 2 day or ground, always insure it for the full value of the contents and specify no signature required if no one will be there to receive it. Fed Ex will leave it on your porch.

talk about timing! I got it last night, in perfect condition - it's a GORGEOUS globe - the 50th anniversary addition - a good new addition to my collection!

It's quicker to ship from your hotel than it is from the place you bought it from. We bought something in Mexico last Thursday and it isn't here yet but they have been trying to deliver our package from the BCV that we mailed last Friday. It's a great thing to do, the only thing is that you have to sign for the package. That is a bit of a pain when you both work and can't have things shipped to work.

I didn't have to sign for the package- it was just on my front step.

You're so lucky that you didn't have to sign- every time we have gotten something from there we have had to. I am jealous!

What are the options for shipping? A friend of ours is going to get something for us in Disney and have it shipped home to us. However we have another option. As we live in Canada I think shipping would be expensive, but we do have friends in Michigan and would be able to ship there if we wish. Is there some place I can go to compare shipping costs etc. I would like to know this so our friend isn't stuck making decisions on his own.
