Received our Castaway Club Pkg Today!

Hi There,
I've read lately about people not getting their CC pkgs, wondering if they were doin away with them, blah, blah, blah....Well I called Feb 23 to get our CC # and the CM said that we should receive our pkg about 6 weeks after departing the cruise.Well it showed up today!!! It's a cool looking envelope, similar to what your docs came in. It has a CD with some island music, and the ship tones of "When you wish upon a star". There's a survey, and DCL vacation planner cards for you to give to friends, and we got all 4 CC cards together(I know other people said they only got a few at a time, DCL must be catching up) Anyway, just thought I'd let everyone know that they are still sending these pkgs, roughly 6 weeks after you get back home. We sailed Feb 3 Wonder. If you sailed prior to that and you haven't received yours yet, I would e-mail or call DCL.

I have sailed DCL 4 times and have never received a thing.

We sailed May of last year. I called in July to get our CC number since we were about to book another cruise. I was told they were processing our cruise at the time, and we would receive it in 6-8 weeks.
We are still waiting.....

Got mine today !!! I was pleasantly surprised after hearing people haven't been getting them lately. We sailed 2/10 on the Wonder. First thing I did was throw in that CD to hear the horn, and then called DH and left the horn tune on his voicemail!! I hope more people start getting them

We sailed on the January 15th Magic and have not received this yet. We got a card with our Castaway Club number on it about a month after sailing but that's it. We are cruising again next February. Should I call or email Dreams?? They are who handled both cruises. Please advise...

I got mine in January after our Dec.2004 cruise....That island music is the best, I listen to it all the time.....dreaming of my upcoming 7 day cruise.

My sister cruised twice and hasn't even received her Cclub card. I wonder how they go about doing this.

I know they may have sent it to me because I didn't rebook on the ship...could that be it? Some kind of brainwashing perhaps???

If so, it worked, didn't take long for me to book again ( loosing my discount & credit on board) but I settled for a cheaper cat. instead.

We sailed DCL Feb 13-17 and got our's last Thursday (March 10th). I guess we got lucky!

Lucky you ... we sailed 09/02/04 ... I called in November and asked for our numbers and that our cards be mailed ... was told they'd been mailed.

Called back in January and specifically asked for the "package with the CD" ... weeks later I got two regular business envelopes ... one with one card for me ... no card for adult DD who sailed with me, the other was for DS who had his own reservation ... however his card had his first name, but my last name ... arghhh.

The GK's didn't get cards ...

Called Disney AGAIN ... hopefully they'll get it right this time ... and maybe send us "the package", LOL!!!

SORRY TO HEAR THAT YOU ALL DIDN'T GET YOUR PKGS. WE DID NOT BOOK THROUGH DREAMS OR DCL, WE USED OUR LOCAL TA. I DID CALL DCL(THE NUMBER ON THEIR WEB PAGE) AS WELL I DID E-MAIL THEM. IF YOU DO CALL, I WOULD SPECIFY THAT I WANT THE PKG, NOT JUST THE CARDS. THE CD REALLY IS AWESOME, ESPECIALLY THE SHIP'S HORN. THE KIDS WERE DANCING AND HAVING A GREAT TIME,IT REALLY TOOK US BACK! GOOD LUCK!

we sailed feb 13-17 our "shoreside survival kit" came monday. I love the cd.

Hmmm ... land/sea vacation booked thru DCL including 3 day cruise on the Wonder (that became a 5 day curtesy of Hurricane Frances) with a catagory 6 stateroom.

Still pouting that I didn't get the Shoreside Survival Kit in spite of the fact that I asked for the kit when I called DCL to let them know I hadn't gotten our cards.

Sailed January 4 Magic and have never received a thing. Rebooked on board. Called DCL two weeks ago to change room (can you believe it, we got a secret porthole room for 2006 spring break), and asked about Castaway Club. They gave me the numbers, but we hae yet to see anything.

Kellimomo, I was on the same 15JAN Magic cruise. We used DU (not that it would make a difference...). Our CC# packets arrived last week.
