Way back in October I ordered the gourmet popcorn that was free (pay s/h of $2.99/bag). I was planning on using it for DS's teachers' Christmas gifts.
I received an e-mail in late November, early December that said they should soon arrive. By December 21st, (last day of school), I gave up and replied to their e-mail to cancel my order. They replied that my order had been cancelled and the charge would be reversed (never charged to my card to begin with).
Guess what arrived on my doorstep today? Yep - 6 bags of popcorn, with a note that they were on the house, no charge for shipping either.
Gave two to DH's employees today and will be taking some to my office tomorrow.
Nice way to promote good customer service.
