received fax at work, sounds too good to be true

OK, this is what the fax says $169 per person includes 3 day admission for all parks, water parks or DISNEY QUEST. It does not say $169 per night. Accomodations at "Disney Good Neighbor" main gates hotel. Travel anytime in next 12 months. Based on double occupancy, up to 3 children stay free. 5 days/4 nights

I was just at Disney (two weeks ago) so I am not going to inquire about this. BUT I AM SO CURIOUS. Is this a timeshare? If anybody calls, can you give me a report of the "fine print" There has to be a catch. And where did they get 3 day hoppers that include Disney Quest? Inquiring minds are dying to know....

I used to get those faxes all the time at work.... SCAM! Timeshare, in very very small print in the bottom would say a required visit etc....


If you are into timeshare presentations, I would say look before you leap, but we aren't interested.

It is probably a time share but it does not say it anywhere on the fax.

It might be less expensive to purchase discounted hopper plusses since many of these "good neighbor" hotels are in the 29-49 per night range. They all have "time share" people in the lobby as well, so this could very well be just such and "opportunity!"

We used to receive faxes like this. Our TA looked into it and recommended we NOT deal with the company. As I recall it was one of those deals where you gave them you CC before you got dates and they had REALLY limited dates.

A relative of mine got one similar to that. She called them and flat out asked if it was timeshare. They tried getting her off the subject but she kept asking. They confirmed it was a timeshare. After she verbally agreed to the trip they sent her the materials. She read through the packet, called to decline and tossed everything in the trash.

It just seemed off to her. Having to pay up front, black-out dates ...
