We arrived on Sunday the 4th. Our trips to and from the airport were great and our flight could not have been better. Arrived at BLT around 3:30 and had not yet been assigned a room. My wife took our granddaughter to the Community Room and I waited until 4 to approach check in. I was told our room would be ready shortly. At 4:30 I approached again and found out there was an issue with the AC leaking and our room was soaked and they had a blower in the room to dry the carpet. The room would not be ready for about 4 hours. They offered me a choice between 2 rooms at South Garden if I wanted. It kind of set me back because we had over $200 of groceries already delivered and those rooms did not come with a full kitchen or washer/dryer. Both CM’s I spoke to were very helpful and we decided to take the option to go to the room in South Garden at least for the night. They also gave us Club level access and a promise to let us decide if we want to move at anytime.

The room at South Garden was amazing and while not a full kitchen came with a small refrigerator and microwave. Being given Club level also was amazing.
We realized we had no plates or bowls or silverware so they brought us what we needed. They also gave us access to the laundry at BLT.

The room was at least 60 feet long. It took me 25 steps to walk across the patio.

Our original room was supposed to be a 1 bedroom standard room at BLT.

As long as you are happy with it. Club level access with food / drinks kinda makes up for it, but each person values things differently. Full Kitchen only really matters if you plan on cooking during your trip to save money, but if it's just simple food prep, all my family needs is fridge and microwave.

So, did you decide to stay or end up moving to a 1-bed unit?

Great3

Here is the patio.

I will add inside pictures later once the room is clean.
And Real chairs, not metal chairs that leaves lines on your leg.

I'm always afraid being on the first floor, you'll open your drapes and find people taking a break on your patio. Does that ever happen?

Not so far.

Here are some pictures. My daughter was in the shower so no pictures of the second full bathroom.

We are now settled in a 2 bedroom Garden/ Pool view at Boardwalk. Very nice room. My granddaughter was very pleased with the waves on the hallway carpet. I never would have noticed.
Today is one of our free days so I will take some time exploring the entire area.

This portion of our trip will be different as we have an extra person with us so as an early bird I have to figure out how to spend a few hours not waking anyone up. I just figured out with the extra person I have no where to go that there is no one else sleeping.

Time for an early walk.

We stayed. I missed having a freezer because I freeze water bottles to take into the park but overall getting the room they gave us was a home run.
Ha, I guess I am not the only crazy one. I too freeze water bottles to bring to the parks. I get laugh at and teased by my family and friends.

Glad to hear you and your family had a wonderful experience.

My daughter does comedy and one of her jokes is about the comparison of the vacations we took her on and the vacations and accommodations we are taking our granddaughter on. This suite will soon be part of the act.
ok, now you have to share when she incorporates this into her act. :)
