Received DDE card

Hi ... Just wanted to let fellow Canadian friends know that I got my DDE card in just a little over 3 weeks. I am ecstatic. It expires Nov 30, 2006 so I can use it for our trip in October 2006 too. If you want to order the DDE card, give it at least 6 weeks tho ... just in case Thanks Only 3 weeks till we leave.

Anyone can buy one, but AP holders get a discount. I paid $50 US for mine, and have got my money's worth. I only wish I had known about it before our trip last Jan ... there were 9 of us, and we had some pretty expensive meals where the discount would have been great.

My only real disappointment with it (OK, I wish it were good EVERYWHERE!) was that they did not take it in the restaurant in Japan. I was totally floored because as I skimmed through the list, I think every other sit-down restaurant in Epcot is included, so I obviously didn't notice. Not that it would have stopped us from eating there, because it's one of our favourites. It was a weekday lunch so at least we were able to get our 10% AP discount - somethings better than nothing!

NOTE: As of January 2005, membership in the Disney Dining Experience is open to Florida residents, as well as Annual Passholders no matter their state of residence.

Oops! Sorry I was giving out misinformation I guess I only read where the regular price was $75 and AP discount price of $50 so assumed it was for everyone. And I know of lots of Canadians that have it so added that to my assumptions.
